We provide resources in a variety of media to foster a love of reading, support the curriculum, encourage independent learning skills and help students to be critical and creative users of information. Our school library is located in Block 6 above the Main Reception. Whether you want to read quietly to yourself, work collaboratively or discover a crucial resource to help you with a home learning assignment, the Library is your one-stop-shop. We have a wide range of fiction and non-fiction books, magazines and study guides and subscribe to JSTOR and eBooks and audiobooks. JSTOR provides access to over 12 million academic journal articles, books and primary sources. eBooks and audiobooks can can be accessed either on a device or on a computer via SORA which is a free app. To watch a short Powerpoint presentation on how to access eBooks click here The library also has several computers and a variety of seating and work areas to suit different working styles. Opening Hours and Schedule The upstairs library can be used by KS3 and KS4 students.
